Years (More Years Limited)
Years voluntarily recalled every Signature fresh meal after reports of dogs developing sudden dry eye in both eyes at once, citing a potential link with buckwheat. Its investigation, published on 24 September 2026, found no contamination, toxin or safety issue in the food and identified no link to the cases, though it could not rule out a reaction to buckwheat itself. The independent case study by the British Association of Veterinary Ophthalmologists (BrAVO) has not yet reported. Years plans to resume deliveries in October with buckwheat removed from every recipe. The Chef's Collection range, which uses quinoa, was excluded from the recall.

What to do
Do not feed recalled Signature meals bought before 17 August 2026. Return them to where you bought them: Years says any product purchased before the recall can still be returned for a refund, though it no longer refunds meals already fed. If your dog has redness, squinting, pawing at the eyes or thick discharge, contact your vet and mention the recall by name. If your dog is already on treatment for dry eye, do not stop it without your vet's advice.
